Nope, we stayed on international drive. Same place as last year, cheap and cheerful, clean and easy to get to anywhere from.

Even after you pulled the map of where the mall was i didnt find it till we went to downtown orlando to watch the magic game. (it can bee seen on the I-4)

The Florida Mall just seems like a crap place to shop, seemed expensive for what it actually was. Only thing i got from thir was a new pushchair for the daughter and that was from Sears. Was $140 and over hear they cost nearer £150 so a bargin.

I left the mother and wife shopping their and took the daughter and step son to the water park for the day i was that dissapointed.

Planning another visit in 2 years time. This time with another family we know so should be 2 drivers instead of just me, meaning can have a drink at the martini bar and not worry about anything.

I went for my honeymoon last year. It was the first time I had been there in almost 15 years, and it had changed quite a lot. We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort and loved it, but then again, we were there during off-season (first week of October)

The bit about all the shopping is spot on. I didn't even notice it at first, since I tend to ignore tourist-trap-type places, but as we were walking out of the Hall of Presidents, the lady next to us remarked "this is the first thing we've been to all day that didn't have a shop at the end of it". It suddenly dawned on me that she was right: almost every single ride at Disney has some sort of shop/potential money-spending adventure attached to it.

Thankfully, I'm such a cheap-a** that my wife knows better than to make me wade through souvenir shop after souvenir shop because I'm unlikely to buy anything.

I went to Epcot last year and each different country was nothing more than a differently themed shop. I did manage to buy a couple of Curly-Wurlys from the United Kingdom though.

ah 9is that what he meant by sales pushy, the shop at the end of each ride.

Good marketing that is, cant say i noticed greatly as you can go to oue of the disney shops at the prine or premium outlets and get stuff for half the price as actually inside disney world.

I freaking love Disney World, go every 2 years. I honestly don't feel compelled to buy stuff when I'm there. Except that massive sombrero, that was awesome.
