You get them at the arsenal. Some bloke behind me the other week slagged off Fabregas, Walcott Hleb and Diarra constantly calling them all useless ****s who should be sold. Then with 15minutes to go he and his mate had had enough and went home (thus missing both our goals). All through the second half all i could hear was "we should have gone to southampton instead" . I admit we wernt great but seriously suggesting Fabregas should be sold
L
ast year it happened 10minutes into Baptistas debut, some old women was calling him a useless t*sser. Bloke next to me got irrate and told her to shut the **** up - she then had a go at him for saying she knew nothing about football because she was a women. Bloke told her it wasnt because she was a women it was because she was a clueless ****wit. At the time i agreed with the bloke, you cant judge a player 10minutes into his debut in a differnt country after 6 weeks out injured. Hindsight though is a wonderful thing

i'm always bantering about Gaylor (Matt Taylor). our fans seems to be 3feet up his a*** everytime he comes on, or warms up. atleast the fans are now starting to realise that it's the Niko era now so i am now smug
although i never boo him, i just laugh at the shots he trys and the passes he misses etc.. but at the end of the day i would rather see taylor score a 50yarder for pompey to win, than us losing and me being proved right tbf
Regards the swearing i agree with the fact that swearing at football matches is a given thing. But what i find disgraceful is the fact it borders on hatred and isn't just for a truly bad tackle or decision by the ref. Its for missing a difficult chance or failing to trap a ball thats been passed to someone at the speed of an exocet.
But as regards the 'fans pay their money they should be allow to boo' argument i don't agree. Going to support your team at the ground is a hobby and you have decided to pay for that and should be prepared to take the good times and bad times. You should never boo individual players unless they have done something totally unprofessional. Also the team shouldn't be booed just because of 1 or 2 bad performances. Football is a confidence game and what these fairweather fans are doing doesn't help any club who go through a bad run/bad times.
but feel free to boo the opposition thats what their there for

Slightly unrelated note in that some Man Utd fan at last years FA Youth Cup final ran 50 yards to tell me that I was a "****ing murdering scouse bastard" before attempting to spit on my mate.
ah you've met Martin then.

According to Joey Barton, our fans are vicious.
Obviously, it goes without saying that stubbing a cigar out in a teenager's eye, attacking an 11-year old Everton fan and assaulting a team-mate is anything but vicious.

Yes everyone is within their rights to boo and I'd agree that it would be counter productive.
Also what gets on my nerves more is that fans are booing when there isn't really any need, it's not like they're bottom and then lose 7-0 to the second from bottom team, teams are doing well in the league, suffer a shock defeat and then get booed, not right in my opinion.
