Anyone know, of when this might start showing in the UK? The NBC website won't show the programme as I'm not based in the US, are there any other legal places where I might be able to watch?

As of yet, no UK broadcasters have picked this show up, so you could be in for a very long wait, or even facing the prospect of waiting for the DVD launch if no-one eventually does.

hm...highly unlikely that the BBC will take this up, with unending repeats of Heroes!

All the networks have already spent their acquisitions budgets for this year, don't expect to see it on in the UK any time soon mate. BBC spent a fortune on Heroes, along with Damages and Mad Men. Life just kinda escaped everyone, especially since NBC were desperate to shift Bionic Woman and Journeyman, since they cost so much more to produce.

Not really, Sarah Connor Chronicles will have all but cleaned them out I suspect, was the most expensive acquisition in LA this year. Add to that the fact Virgin have to spread their budget over multiple channels (Living, Bravo, Virgin 1). Pretty much everything that has started, or is due to start soon already has overseas distributors, if they are going to get one. Sometimes, shows get lost in the shuffle. Life seems to be one of those unfortunates.

Numbers are in, Life dropped viewers again, but it was less than 500k, which keeps it above 7.5 million, which is still pretty healthy considering it's up against one of the CSI's. Bionic Woman dropped another 1.6 million however, really don't see it staying on the air much longer. Not even Isaiah Washington seems able to keep folks watching. Very bad news indeed for ITV, since they spent a bomb on it, especially if it doesn't get a full season order (only had an additional three scripts ordered, and the strike is looming). ITV will be grateful that Pushing Daisies is looking good at around the 10 million mark though, especially since it's up against Deal or no deal.

Life is hanging on to third place this week in the US for its time slot. But, it's up against the CSI machine and Dirty Sexy Money, which had a whole lotta publicity before it got going. It's in a late timeslot (10pm eastern/pacific) and on a rough night to gain any ground.

Here's a blurb about the early Wed ratings
"CSI: NY" posted a 9.0/15 for CBS at 10 p.m., easily beating ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money," 6.4/11, and NBC's "Life," 5.0/8. (The 2nd # is the share, or percentage of televisions in the US tuned to that show)

I think NBC would be smart to move it maybe to Friday nights behind Las Vegas, and it might do a bit better. I guess we'll see where it stands after November sweeps next month

Third very respectable tbh, especially considering what it is up against (CSI is indeed a machine when it comes to ratings and Dirty Sexy Money has been plummeting the last few weeks as it hasn't lived up to it's "FILTHIEST SHOW ON TV!!!" billing). I don't see the need to move it. Still sitting above 7.5 million in a late night slot, and doing well in that key demo. Remember the demo viewers are worth three regular viewers, sometimes four to the right advertiser.

Loved this week's effort, but I have a soft spot for angels so it was always going to catch my eye. Garret Dillahunt was awful at the Russian accent, but has been excellent in both Deadwood and Damages so I'll forgive him the cameo. Charlie obviously a much stronger man than I, keeps turning down Constance

Did just about enough in the grand scheme too, $18M is alot of money, although it's not enough to explain the set-up, so obviously just a small part or the much larger puzzle. Also wouldn't be surprised to see Roman back at some point, that story doesn't seem nearly settled.
