Default patch 8.0.2

well it's pretty obvious there is going to be a second patch as the game still isnt running right, there are still problems with confidence, the match engine is unstable and isn't programmed right, what i don't get is how can the testers of missed this 1 on 1 business and long shots etc, we gave you guys alot of feedback on the beta patches and si still couldnt get it right which is quite surprising, i read somewhere paul was looking into the engine and he knows it needs a tweak, as a customer it's frustrating and disapointing at the same time and heres why...

after fm 07 and the patches the game ran very stable, the match enginge was good (not pefect as everything can be improved) but better than 08, so why has the engine now gone backwards? it feels like 05 or 06 or worse, i don't get why they didnt use the same engine and i don't get why they don't let US test the game for them, had they released a demo before the game was ready to go in production and let us find these bugs they could of ironed out SOME of the problems when the game was boxed.

anyways the game obviously is going to need another patch to fix it, and I personally aint playing the game till this patch comes out because i don't find the game enjoyable, i might even install 07 again as i found it fun.

Anyways would be nice if si can confirm the patch and what stage it's in, are they still building a list, i feel it'll be out after jan but would be nice if it was beginning of jan, i'll be surprised if si reply to this kind of message but o well.

Too bad the next patch is a couple months down the road, and if that doesn't fix it, the game will most likely never be fixed.

[QUOTE]Originally posted by me:
I'll bet none of you are aware of my psychic powers. I know already know the exact timeline (give or take five days) 8.02.

Somewhere around 13 Jan, give or take 5 days, SI will announce they will be releasing a data update after the end of the month that will, more than likely, include 8.02.

At 12:01 GMT on 1 Feb, someone on this forum will demand the new patch.

By 2359 hrs on 2 Feb, the board will be overrun with posts claiming SI lied about the release of the new patch.

Somewhere around 10 Feb, give or take 5 days, SI will announce the data update/patch is being worked on, and will be released when it is ready.

Thereby will ensure roughly three weeks, give or take five days, of moaning about the lack of updates on the patch. Then, around 1 Mar, give or take 5 days, SI will announce 8.02 is in beta, and will be released "soon, if there are no problems."

There will be problems.

Finally, 8.02 will be released on 13 Mar, give or take 5 days.

Once again, the boards will be overrun with moaning, saying the patch didn't fix this or broke that.[\QUOTE]

Correction. You are paying to test the game for them while at SI Towers, they are fed caviar for all of their meals.

Nothing like making up a random prediction, then making it sound like a matter of fact, eh?

Due to some major issues I "think" we'll have one before Christmas. Might not be a full fix list, but SI need to sort out the registration issues pronto. As things stand some leagues are unplayable and that's totally unacceptable no matter what way they dress it up.
