I saved my game as usual after winning the league for the second time and the game will not load now! It gets half way through and stops saying a serious error has occured and it shuts the game down? WTF is this all about? I have done nothing different and the last time I played it I just played two meaningless league games as it was already over. I am Lyon and have bought some quality young French players who are just about to break into the first team squad, I need this game back! I've put nearly 3 days of my life into it!

cant offer any advice on recovering that game, however, for the future, in the game preferences, select the save game option that says "3 file rolling auto-save" as this means, should one of the saves experience problems, you have 2 back ups from a month or so of game time earlier, so at least you dont completely lose all your hard work...

Can you try closing FM 2008 then going to

XP:

Cdocuments & Settings\username\application data

Vista:

Cusers\username\application data\

and try renaming the Sports Interactive folder?

Then try it again?
