Default 801 Database on Beta Patch
Having lost my rag with certain contentious elements of 801 Final I've just installed the beta 2 and added in the 801 database.

Anyone else done this? Any issues?

i'm not using the 8.0.1 database however i'm using savegame i started with beta patch, then installed 8.0.1 patch and continued the savegame, then got tired of the ridiculous match engine and continued to play the savegame with beta patch and havent found any issues.

Yeah, my 801 saves are unusable and scrapped but I really wish I'd saved my enjoyable Beta 2 game.

It's loaded up ok tho, which is nice.

I'm looking forward to winning the odd game again, couldn't keep 801, my keyboards a bit new and expensive for the levels of wrath it was inducing.
