I'm getting this problem when trying to install the FM2008 from the boxed copy I was given.

I've done a search but the suggested solutions have not helped in the threads that I found.

Any help?

The default font in FM2007 is called Vera, I think.

Sounds like your new installation is looking for some old 2007 files.

You might try fully uninstalling FM2007 before reinstalling Fm2008.

That's about all I can think of.

Thanks for the reply, yes I think some remnant remains of FM2007 in the registry.

Anyway, today when I uninstalled FM2008 & then reinstalled it worked.

Yesterday I noticed that the 1st few screens had the old grass background whereas today it has the plain backgrounds that I remember from the FM2008 beta.
