Then it has nothing to do with his permit. Either he has already played in that comp with another club, or he is too young (under 15?). Or he hasn't registered for that competition in time.

I've got a few players inexplicably inelligible (can't say that quick) for my first match, which is the Inter-toto/EURO Vase.

I think it's based on who was registered for europe the previous year, as I've not had a message asking who to register, and none of my new signings are elligible.

Kinda confused, (am playing in holland, so no work permit problems), but it's been so long since I last played in the toto, i can't really remember how it's meant to go.

Were sheff U in the inter toto (or any pre-season european qualifiers).

This may explain it.
