The Nvidia got 128mb like the Radeon but I understand they used to have 256mb? So is this Nvidia some kind of cheap version? MAde by Asus it seems.

It depends what version of the 7600 it is really, but still, it should be miles better than the 9800.

I have a 7600GT, it's a good budget card :thup:

It's a cheap version if it uses DDR2 RAM instead of GDDR3.

IIRC there was a 512Mb version as well. Natch, more is better (although I doubt 512Mb would be used), but it's still a decent card, for the price.

Yeah the GT has 256mb but this one only has 128mb. But should still be better than the radeon.

Ok, thanks man for the input. As i'm bored think I might try both out with 3dmark2005.

The 9800pro simply won't run some of the newer games, whereas the 7600 will run them, but badly.

Yeah and top of that I didnt even get the radeon to work So there wasnt even a battle.
