When choosing your season expecations and as a result your transfer and wage budget in a league with playoffs, how come you can not choose a playoff finish as your minimun expectation for the season????? It seems that the next minimum expectation after a top half finish should be achieving a playoff spot (but not winning them) then the next being promotion. However, there never seems to be this playoff (but not winning them) option.
Also, along the same lines, when choosing initial expectations in the premiership, if you choose a title challenge as a minimum expectation does that mean achieving a champions league spot (ie. finishing in the top 4)???????? In my opinion I think it must and doesnt mean you have to finish only a few points behind the leaders to fulfill expectations. Does anyone else agree with me on this? If so, why dont they call this option champions league qualification or even keep the title challenge minimum expectation (for coming 2nd or 3rd) and include the minimum expectaion of a champions league spot for coming in 4th place??
It would be greatly appreciated if anybody could clear these points up for me...cheers
