Default Needless Tactics

I just watched a full game and planed everything out and tweaked things all the way through the match and focused really hard and i won 2-1 AND THEN i put commentary on and whizzed through the next match with no effort and won 4-0 it happens all the time with me, i ask myself and you guys whats the point of tactics after that happens to you, a bit disheartening

Did you actually play every game for 90 minutes? That's insane
I envy your patience

Some of us actually relish each individual match. Maybe we're nuts!

I surely watch the whole thing, though I put the speed sliders up almost all the way, typically lasts 20 or so minutes.

I watch the entire 90 minutes of all my matches. Have done since CM4.

I don't see the point in playing the game if you're just going to read commentary. Do you ever see Fergie or Arsenal staying home on a saturday to watch a summary on their game on Soccer Saturday? :p

Nope, but they get paid thousands of pounds per week to spend their time doing that. I don't.

Therefore key highlights are the most I can stretch to in order to actually find time to go to my real job and keep my girlfriend happy.

I would love to have the time to watch the full 90 minutes of all of my games. Gives you a sense of achievement

However my wife and 2 daughters say otherwise! lol

You can't make a judgment on just 2 games. Assuming you were doing the correct things at the correct times, you would in general win more games by making all the tweaks than just playing through the matches quickly.

People actually watch all 90 minutes of their games!? I never even considered anyone would do that. I will hang on to this thread for next time my girlfriend calls ME sad for playing at all.

Simply because each match is different. Play it again with commentary only and you could lose 0-3. I don't watch the entire match myself, but I would think that if you knew what you were doing, you'd probably have a better chance of getting a good result than whizzing by and put everything in the AI's hands (ie he could come up with a tactic to counter you and beat you).

Play a better team and you'll see why tactics matter.
