Im sick of this game now...sorry to rant but these offsides and bloody rubbish finishing by strikers is driving me nuts ...offsides i get at an average of 9-10 a game and im nt kidding...im on the verge of being knockd out of the champions league grp stages thnx to my amazingly brilliant finishing which has left me 0 goals from 26 shots ON TARGET...i simply dont care now...im losing all patience wih this game...fm07 was better than this buggy game!
Sorry for the rant but needed to let out my frustration!

the patch isnt really helpful...the current one has ruined my game even more. Maybe il just grind through the game for some more time or just wait for fm09

Wait a second? Your saying ALL on-target shots have to be good ones? Mabye your players are crap at shooting. Make training schedueles and tactics, play the game!

The shots on target/goal ratio is very poor though.
You can have the 2 best strikers in the game, have 15-20 shots on target against a preston north end goal keeper and still struggle to score. Maybe once in a blue moon but not all the time!
If rooney/drogba had 20 shots on target they will not miss them all.
Maybe to counter this they could make it harder to have a shot no target? so it is more realistic, like 6 shots on target ina game... but when your stonking teams every single game with very good finishing players, you expect a few goals.
Also for me you can hammer a team into the ground, all the opposing team haing 4's and 5's... 15+ shots on target 20+ shots when they dont even have 1 shot at goal and you still only have like 2% more possesion lol

there should be a template message sent to all the moaners on this forum. This is the first time i've posted but ive viewed this site on-line for years. If you dont like the game, dont play it and clear off. Your whinings are clogging up the message board, when im sure dedicated fans would much rather read constructive postings on how the game could improve and more importantly share their good times.

I'm saying include all the shots from defenders and midfielders from long distances. They won't be that good. They can add up.

Hey Mcdoul i can appreciate my first message sounded a bit wet and when reading his post i did mistake it for another pointless rant. But come on, the game has some bugs but you can get round them by employing the right tactics. I've got a rotated strike force of sibierski, harewood, miller and earnshaw (no money spent) and they've shot me to 5th in the premier with Derby second season half way in.
