Default The most *deadly* virus the world has ever seen....

I know its just a game...but some things make it hard to suspend disbelief:

"Currently receiving specialist treatment for a serious viral infection. Expected to be out for 6 months"

What sort of virus is this that:
1) knocks out the player for over half a year
2) leaves enough of him alive to return to elite sports
3) has the OPTION of just going home and sitting it out instead of seeking medical care(which actually makes him take longer to recover...)

Cant' figure out how to post a screenshot...its an amusing one at that

Malaria is not a viral infection.

The Epstein-Barr Virus is one that could be very difficult for young footballer, as there are some side effects that could lead into a very long period in which you can't do sports.

Malaria?
Not important, but Malaria is technically not a virus.

well i can understand if the dude had to be hospitalized for 6 months...but i also had the option to just tell him to "go home"

And it would have taken less time too
