Just wondering, does anybody else try not to play for a while once a season is over? I'm not really thinking of the people who play a season in a few hours, more those like myself who take ages to complete a season and then need time to reflect on the triumphs/failures that year. From past experience I find that if I just plough straight into another season I don't have the same motivation as I would after a break. Only problem now is to decide what to do in the meantime...
I usually take a small break between seasons. Even a day or so to reflect on the season and think of what I might have done differently had I another crack at it.
I definitely slow down, but cant 'break' from it. I find trauling the markets for new signings, generally sorting through my squad, ie getting contracts down or looking at who needs to be offloaded, provides the needed rest bite
nope, looking at recruitments take time, especially as very few players have more then a 'good' recommendation, and so many have that exactly that often you have to trawl through so many to find things that would make one better signings than the rest, so makes it even longer, but I don't break. if I do its simply because its slower so there is more chance of a break coming up during that time. plus I have a 2nd me managing mexico, which means playing internationals. especially since the last summer break I had, 2011, featured mexico in bpth the gold cup and the copa america
