If he moves to Milan he will defintely be known because of playing with Kaka so that could be good, and if he scores lots then you lot will know him and want him in the national team.

I hope he moves to Milan, but I am afraid it will be too late by then.
How close do you think he is to playing for the Squadra Azzurra?

Not very, so far Donadoni has Toni, Totti, Gilardino, Del Piero (bench), Quagliarella and Iaquinta to choose from. Amauri might never get called up but there is a chance if Totti and Del Piero both retire from the national team. Best thing for him at the moment is to move to a bigger club in or out of Italy to see what else he can show the world.

That's good news (for Brazil).
Not related to Italy-based Brazilians, but I read or heard somewhere that Milan wants Cassano.

Milan need strikers seeing as they only have 2 at the moment . Expect them to go out and 2 or maybe 3.

Ehm ... isn't it Squadra Azzurri?
In my FM, Amauri is always called by Italy. And since we don't have lethal STs, our squad is still dominated by old names, apart of Quagliarella. If they get injured, we'll face a problem. New ST, please. Unless we're brave enough to call young STs, i.e. Palladino, Rossi, Pellè, and Bianchi. Pazzini may get a chance after ****ing performances in EC U-21. |

| Cassano and Amauri could be these strikers then.
Back to Brazilians and rumors, the media here is saying that central defender Thiago Silva (Fluminense) may join Milan. Do Milan need more central defenders (I know Costacurta retired)?

Exactly. They have Maldini and Nesta as their 1st team. Maldini is a legend, so is Nesta. But they need more younger DFs to face pacey STs, such as Amauri.

Azzurra = singular form
Azzurri = plural form
Squadra = singular (I suppose)

Thiago Silva is pretty pacey (for central defenders standards). And he is young too (23 years old). :thup:
