Freddy for cash seems a lot more likely. It seems Bojinov has shot his bolt.

Must say I'm impressed with the transfers made by Samp so far. Cagliari may as well start preparing for Serie B football now.

The problem with Cassano is not that he needs taming...that's why he is the way he is...people always trying to control him etc.

The issue has more to do with his wage...and his unwillingness to make sacrifices to get his career on track in any shape or form.

He could easily be transfer fee-wise by any Serie A club from title contender to relegation battler...but his wages are still pre-TV bubble bursting numbers...

Milan
IN: Abbiati (G, Torino); Donati (M, Atalanta), Sammarco (M, Chievo), Antonini (M, Siena), Novinic (A, Nafta Lendava), Ba (M, Varese)
OUT: Costacurta (D, retired), Abate (M, Empoli), Borriello (A, Genoa), Donati (M, Celtic), Abbiati (G, Atletico Madrid) Sammarco (M, Sampdoria), Di Gennaro (A, Bologna), Coppola (G, Atalanta), Grimi (D, Siena)

The media here (based on some news from the Gazzetta dello Sport) is saying that Milan's board is split between spending their money on Shevchenko or on Alexandre Pato.

I think they will be going after Pato because of their age issue. Also there are many more options for a younger striker out there who wouldn't cost so much.

It would be the smarter choice, not only because he is younger but also because of his wages. But according to the media here, some people at Milan's board think that 25 m Euros for him is too much.

By the way, what do you think of Palermo's Amauri?

Amauri is class! My favourite striker of Serie A last season until he got injured. He is a definate for your national team before we choose him. Great in the air and the penalty area and he has a lethal shot. If he wasn't injured then I think we will be talking about if he goes to Milan.

No chance he will be called up by Dunga. Nobody here knows Amauri in Brazil.

I liked him too in the few matches I watched him play.

His situation is kind of like Pepe's.
