I agree, I've always created my own tactics but this is the first time I have ever had to put any real effort in to it. I stear clear of the Tactics forum because I like to figure this stuff out for myself but I've found it a lot more rewarding this year when I do get it right.

I think FM has increased in popularity so much over the recent versions that perhaps people are coming to the game with different expectations and are finding that instant success isn't there, getting frustrated, and blaming bugs.

I agree with Amaroq here;

Perhaps some more feedback on where people are going wrong will stop them blamming seemingly innocuous bugs.

I used to think FM was great, but now it just frustrates and annoys me too much. I hate the current match engine, there's far too many problems with it.

I could cope with it at first, but after prolonged periods of play it gets too much and the problems become way too apparent.

For me playing FM is like spending a day with a pretty girl who never shuts up. Lots of other things make it bearable to begin with, but by the end of the day all you can see is the annoying stuff.

You missed out on the most important one, but never mind, I'm glad to offer you a helping hand:

Yes, that is right. You won't hear about them often. They're just busy enjoying themselves. Maybe they are given a reason to. Like, a game they enjoy. Maybe they don't. Maybe it's a minority. Maybe it's the other way around. This is the almighty interweb, it's as much of a mess as it's always been. If you had taken a look at the Steam forums around HL2s release you might have got the impression it was the buggiest piece of turd ever released.

I'm not entirelly happy with what I have to deal with playing in Germany either (second teams of professional clubs promoting to 2. Bundesliga, kinda iffy financials lower league sides..), but I'm one of the players, thanks.

That's a good point, too, Svenc. Generally the "I'm content with it as it is" crowd aren't bothered to come post about their contentment.
