Really enjoying it so far. The story is pretty good, at least better than any other game story I've played in the past year or two.
I'm about four/five hours in, I'd say where, but like Gregg said, I don't want to spoil anything.
I'm having a tough time with the combat just now. I mean, it's enjoyable, it really is. I just suck at it. But I'm sure that will come.

Not played this yet, want to wait until I have the chance to sit down and just play it for 2 or 3 hours with no distractions. Having to pause it every 5 minutes would do my head in.

Yeh i had that the other day Bob. I was trying to play it but kept being hassled to do stuff, so replayed the first part of it again today. Really loving it. Landed on my first planet earlier just before i went out and will continue shortly i think.
You can choose to go to loads of places and i'd guess at most people going to different places for their first trip.
My first choice of mission, you get told that they're in a certain star system. So you go there, then you've got a bunch of different stars you can go to within that star system and then there's generally at least one planet you can land on orbiting that star.
So yeh, there's bound to be planets where there's really not much to do and there are planets you can't land on for various reasons like there being a very young civilisation there or because it's a gas giant or because it's a graveyard planet or whatever, but the ones you can land on should provide something interesting even if it's a little distraction.

Demetri, try pausing it a little if you're struggling. It lets you regain your composure. I am fine with the combat, but then it's a very basic third person shooter system and with my well known love for GRAW it comes naturally to me. However, the pause system is good for you to take a few minutes should you need it, which some people coming to this game may well need.

Yeah, I'm not really great at aiming with a controller. My reticle is all over the place most of the time!
I see an enemy and I panic and just seem to run at them. I'll sort it out! But yeah, pausing is useful, thanks for the tip. I've taken to just using the RB button to pause and survey the area before I do anything.

I have that and motion blur on, I like the way both look.
Anyone else get strong desires to watch some sci-fi classics while playing this game? I really need to rent some movies.

Watched my brother play it this morning while i was occupied with the cricket, the opening sequence so movie-like with the camera following his character down the corridors and stuff :*)
