Did you get Liara first? I find she helps out a lot with her biotics.
Basically what I did was take out the first two she sends out. Then run off to the right hand side, behind the opposite side of the tank, of the area so that Benezia can't hurt you with anything. Then basically you can then take your time with the remaining enemies. Just stay in cover and pick them off.
I didn't actually find it too hard, but I only played on normal mode plus I had Liara in my team to help out.

Oh, by the way, anyone been through the interview scene at the Citadel yet?
SPOILERS BELOW---
I thought it was hilarious. I just wanted to end it, you know, just get on with things. Then he ends up punching her in the face. So very unexpected.

| Cool, just got past it. I found it really tough, but it all came together in the end. I went straight to Novaria after the Citadel so I don't have Liara yet, and I don't think I was very well prepared.
Going to spend a bit of time exploring now rather than ploughing through the story.

I find the storyline planets are brilliantly done, the non-story ones are a let down. Most are just barren, ie no settlements or cities, just driving around in the mako.

Just finished the game, very good but not close to Bioshock for game of the year for me.
Spoilers
What I did like was how actions early on in the game really effected the choices I made later like Williams killing Wrex led me to choose to sacrifice her to save Kaiden and how the council never believing me led me to letting their ship be destroyed.

Don't think this is too much of a spoiler, but my housemate's just finished it and he took a certain course of action just so his character could knob another one in the game |

Would know, Paul, didn't use him whatsoever.
My normal team until about halfway through was Ash & Tali, then Ash & Garrus when Garrus was skilled enough to handle decryption and electronics.

well ash and kaidan is pretty much your only choice for the citadel missions, and I chose those two for feros as well basically because I couldn't be arsed to level anyone else up. I'm going to reconsider that mentality now though, considering he'll get knocked down by a crappy geth trooper half the time, and if he comes up against anything bigger will almost certainly go down
it also took me ages to realise that ash seems to prefer the shotgun, so I've been levelling up her pistol and assault rifle skills for ages and for no reward (and yes I know you can get them to change weapons but I only usually switch my own weapons if the assault rifle overheats)
