Hello,
I can not install FM08. It says unable to launch java application. What should I do???

Thank you for the address but, I have tried and installed java 1.4.2 but still I have the same problem

Okay... what version of Mac OS X are you running?

Blue/Black apple (top left hand corner) -> about this mac

Should show the version # under the apple logo

Another question... if you click on the apple then software update do any pop up?

10.4.11 combo, blue apple, I am using macbookpro Mac Os X , 2.16ghz intel core duo, 1 gb 667 mhz ram....

Weird... it lists 10.3.9 as the minimum to install so you should be fine on that... your best bet is probably to post in the mac forum. Someone else may have run into the same issue sorry.
