Heard that about Hubble on the radio 2 or 3 days ago iirc but forgot to post it
Just checked and it's only 600 km from earth. Thought it was way further than that tbh.

Monday around midday onwards there doing loads of STS-116 mission press conferences. Going over what the mission is, what the EVA will entail etc

Excellent. I'll remember to get Nasa TV running in the background while i'm on the net.
7 Dec is launch date isnt it ?
And how come Discovery is going again ? Never seems to be on the ground that thing.

| Yeah 7th. Aye Discovery is used alot, although isnt going up again after this mission till Sept 07 on STS-122

Watching nasa tv now the education program thing is on. There talking about sound waves and when humans cant hear them
This guy had a pitch/frequency changing thing and kept turning up the pitch until we cant hear it. My ears are hurting now |

haha one of them is taking a frisbie into space with them. Hes off to set the world record for longest time a frisbie remains in the air without touching the ground |

The LM had no heat shield but got them back to earth
