The STS-116 crew members visited NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida this week for the crew equipment interface test. The test is a routine part of astronaut training and launch preparations, and allows astronauts to get hands-on with the equipment and flight hardware that will be used during the mission.
During the STS-116 mission, Discovery will deliver the P5 integrated truss structure to the International Space Station, and carry the SPACEHAB module and other key components. Launch is scheduled for no earlier than Dec. 7.
| Seems preperations are well under way now for STS-116

Highly recommend the site. Ordered on the 9th, delivered on the 18th. Once they send to UPS, you can track exactly where it is 24hrs a day. UPS deliver within 5 working days
I will be ordering more stuff off them. And you get a cool map of Kennedy Space centre with it. Has a close up of the shuttles engines on it, will try getting a pic of that too
Edit: Fixed the links seeing as we can edit our posts now
