I know Nasa dont want to launch at night, but if Atlantis doesnt get off till October, it means the December mission will be pushed back. With only a 2-day daylight window in October it doesnt leave room for error.
Seems if Nasa really want a daylight launch, it could seriously delay the building of the ISS. Wonder if they might be tempted to launch at night?

Problems with one of NASA's ponderous crawler-transporters will force engineers to take the shuttle Atlantis to the far side of the Vehicle Assembly Building Tuesday if a rollback from the launch pad is ordered because of tropical storm/hurricane Ernesto. The change in plans will add three hours or so to the time necessary to get Atlantis out of harm's way. | Jesus
Im glad it hasnt gone up, all these problems on the ground, something was bound to happen if it went up

Watched 6 episodes of From Earth to the Moon
Excellant  Highly recommend. Just shows what goes into a space mission, not just from Nasa but the other contractors

| Funnily enough, I'd just watched episode 6 as well.
Managed to get hold of an Apollo simulation game called Apollo 18, it's meant to be ultra-realistic. However it's also meant to be quite poor and I'm not sure it will run as it's 7 years old. But it's not really a choice, more of a lack of options.
