Kevin McBride getting a title shot pretty much sums up the division currently, against Ruiz as well At least they can't both end up with a belt.

McBride/Ruiz would be the most puke ignitiating fights in history.

Looks like Audley Harrison is stalking folk around the Top 10 (according to boxrec rankings).
Jameel Mccline has already refused a fight against him as his promoter does want the fight saying its "not worth the risk" for the $200,000 purse...

| Fighters ducking Harrison and using same excuses people gave for not fighting Lewis10-15 years ago I suppose Audley has the potential to be good, especially in this wekened division, but $200,000 not worth the risk against somweone who has only beaten a load of bums. Harrison needs to step up soon as well, time is not on his side.

His best bet IMO is a fight againts Skelton, it could raise his support in the UK sufficiently that he can offer prospective opponents bigger purses.
His best bet is to find someone perhaps on the way down but still ranked Top 10 but one of the Big 3. It really only takes one win of an opponent of the calibre to propel him into contention.
He should fight Mike Tyson tbh, garuntees you a world title shot these days it seems |

1) Audley Harrison has not done enough to start running his mouth like I saw the other day. He doesn't deserve a top 10 fighter until at least 2 more fights.
2) Wladimir Klitschko will win on Saturday against Peter, Samuel's chin has never been tested, he will not be able to walk through Klitschko and will find out that some people can actually bang in there. Expect to see Peter on his back a few times on his way to a middle round stoppage.

If Audley Harrison cannot be a top 5 rated fighter within the next 12 months he should give up the game. In fact, he should have a shot at the title within that period if he is at all serious about boxing.

have you seen Wladimir fight in the past 2 years? - he has been truly awful and its amazing to think that about 5 years back he was the one that was destined for major belts when compared to his brother Vitali by top Boxing pundits and fans.

My prediction for Peters/Klitschko = 5th round KO victory for Peters.
I dont think there is anyway Wladimirs glass jaw can survive Peters freakish power. He may not be the most technically gifted boxer around, but his power will put Wladimir on his arse more than once.

Wlad supposedly had all the talent in the world but clearly has less heart/mental capacity than Vitali.
