pictochat uses the wireless thing that ds has built in to communicate with nearby dses, and hence is a different thing i think?

and i have a belkin wireless thing, don't remember having any problems at all :/

pictochat only shows people within the local wifi range of the ds not the internet (iirc).

is there any settings in the ds where you enter you router settings or do you do it in game, i cant find anywhere to input my settings on mario

you do it on the main ds screen when you boot it up before you go into a game. its in one of the icons. (this is all from memory (havent had a ds in a few months) so may be wrong)
