Animal Crossing is ace...

I had it for the N64 and I still play it on my GCN... and I've had it since it was released in the UK.

I can't wait to get the Wii version I hope it has some excellent new features...the whole Insect, Fossils and Fish collecting is good but if your a seasoned player it can get a bit boring.

Animal Crossing interestingly enough has out-sold the likes of Final Fantasy series when they have been released in the same week in Japan and Madden in America... :o not bad a a game simulation that requires you to carry out chores that in real-life you'd say "**** that!".

I'm tempted to get Animal Crossing on DS, just not sure if it's my type of game, may pick it up from Game and then if i don't like it i can always return it.

Do they still do that? They were supposed to be stopping it because people like me kept abusing it, and people like me were ****ed off at buying a 'new' game with a save already on it.

Is Animal Crossing complicated? I have not played any of the previous versions and the icons look complicated from screenshots I have seen.

I don't know in the DS version but when you get your house...outside is a statue that shakes side to side...if you talk to it...you can save your game.

Hope that helps...

I think you need to go to Nooks...he will give you a house...then you can save.

You go to your bed to save iirc. I didn't like AC, it made me feel like a 12 year old girl.
