I buckled and ordered a Japanese Lite for £107 with free express delivery on Tuesday, got it today.
You can't play one then be happy with your old DS, the new screens are simply unbelievable. It's like the difference between the second version of the GBA and the GBMicro.
And I'm no longer mortified by how massively uncool it looks \o/
And the D-pad and buttons are infinitely better \o/
Even the stylus is better \o/

| My g/f is PW addict as well and has an Animal Crossing:WW addiction...I never see my DS nowadays...she even takes it to work...which is why I can't play NSMB... And if I try to play...she throws a fit.
I honestly regret introducing her to gaming (sometimes anyway)...
Black DS-Lite can't come soon enough for me. |

i was just looking on movietyme.com and it seems they would be the cheapest place to get games. do they ship from the uk??
and they had bomberman on there too. i've heard about the new bomberman that is coming out on other systems and apparently its a 3D version that just isnt the same as normal bomberman. anyone played it/heard anything?

yeah, bomberman should just be left as it is. its an all time classic and would be perfectly suited to the DS with multiplayer.

I ordered that Brain Age thing off there earlier, heard good things about them. Bad things too but slightly less of them.
I had a DS game buying binge last week: Metroid, Castlevania DS, Trauma Center and Mario & Luigi for a total of £28. All tremendous, especially Metroid which I was quite indifferent about after seeing some videos and reading some reviews. The control scheme is great.
