Plus there is the brain training games, wario ware's, nintendogs, Castlevania Sorrow, Trauma Centre, Phoenix wright. Mario & Luigi superstar saga 2, Meteos. Tony Hawks American sk8land as well
Plus there's ability to play all the top notch Game Boy Advance games as well as the Resident Evil remake coming for it.
Nintendogs is the typical Nintendo "innovation" game, like Doshin the Giant and Animal Crossing - and Trauma Centre, Pheonix etc. All those games are a lot fun for the first few days. Unfortunately, these games have so little depth that you're bored with them by the end of the week.
Wario Ware is fantastic, but pointless as a one-player game. The whole point in Wario Ware is to have 4 friends fighting with each other in front of a TV screen.
I havent played Castlevania so I can't comment. I don't have much hope for it being great though, as the last 10 Castlevanias were rather dull and frustrating.
M&L S-Saga was brilliant, but again it gets boring after a while, like Paper Mario.
Meteos is yet another lame attempt to be the next Tetris.
EA can only be applauded for their succes with the Tony Hawks series. How someone can sell the same game under so many different guises I'll never know.
Resident Evil will probably be great, but that's a while off yet.
As for the GBA games, buy a GBA micro - much better.
Viewtiful Joe can be ignored as VJ2 on the consoles is far better.
What is the point in buying a GBA Micro for virtually the same price when it only plays GBA games surely it would be better to buy the DS and at least have the option of playing the DS games you like as well as the GBA ?
Oh and you do realise EA have nothing to do with Tony Hawks don't you ?

gah that went wrong
plus its ok saying the console version of Viewtiful joe is better, thats not exactly the point is it ? Unless you can think of a sensible way in which i can manage to take my Gamecube and pad and games and play it on a train or a bus.
The majority of games get boring after a while whatever console you play them on, so i don't quite see your point.
I cant remember who actually makes Tony Hawks, i took a chance and went for the company who's best known for repackaging the same game year in year out and calling it 'new'.
