Well it's essentially Mario 3(D) and it's all kinds of awesome.

I never had a NES and I got my SNES a few years after it came out so it's amazing to play a proper Mario game where it's all new and unspoilerised. I'm finding I don't even want to play loads of it in one sitting to tease it out fr as long as possible, although there will be plenty of replay value in getting the three special coins in each level. Even in World 1 they're not that obvious.

just looked on gamespot.com and apparently they are announcing a european release date tomorrow for the DS lite.
come one cheap DS lite soon!!

I "completed" Mario earlier, but I can't figure out how the pish to reach two of the worlds and I've still to get most of the Star Coins. Short but very very very good.

So you rushed your way through it without exploring or anything?

Some areas have more than 1 ending to the level, like on Super Mario 1 on the 2nd level underground you could run along the top at the end to find warp pipes to other worlds. In this one using the same route will take you to another finish and will open up another route to take in world 1

I knew that after completion it lets you save anywhere so I saved the exploration and the colecting of Star Coins for then. Found a few secret exits in the first couple of worlds so far, none that help me get to World 4 though
