There's only one USB port on the router, and that's in use. I don't suppose it'll be able to do anything just stuck into a PC USB port?

You plug the adapter into a PC connected to the internet, not the router.

got Animal Crossing, Advance Wars and TOny Hawks for Christmas. Only played Animal Crossing and only really got into it yesterday. Quite good but like a tamagochi really and nothing really too do. Will have Tony Hawks and Advance Wars a good going over on SUnday

I lost interest in Animal Crossing pretty quickly. It's probably worth getting if you haven't played the Gamecube version mind. Personally I didn't think it offered much more.

The same with Advance Wars. The maps in the War Room are exactly the same as the ones on the GBA Advance Wars 2, which I had already wasted days of my life playing. I think I got rid of the game after a week.

ok the ds is awesome, mario kart is awesome, advance wars is awesome, haven't played sonic rush enough to decide if it's awesome and there's like some mario and luigi game coming out that someone told me is awesome. so all in all, awesome?

or

usb internet dongle + animal crossing

don't know which one to buy

Before you buy either be awawre that they are releasing a newer smaller cooler and whiter version of the DS.
