We started off well with Camoranesi and Nedved able to create spaces and supply good balls. When Camoranesi went off injured the team became sad and slowly they started to become clueless. The defense line is shaky as usual and thankfully Asamoah's attempts were really high and not threatening.

The second half was even worse, letting in a goal early and still playing in the same sad, depressing way. Two changes in that did not do any difference at all.

Udinese were a very bad side and Juventus didn't have a clue on what to do. At least Udinese knew that they should not have let a goal in and they succeeded.

One thing can be said is that Del Piero hit the post three times today.

Buffon 6: He was not tested and the goal is not his fault

Birindelli 5: Very slow in the back and offers nothing

Andrade 6.5: He was active but without offering something extra

Criscito 6: Did his job well

Chiellini 6: Also did what he had to do

Camoranesi 6.5: He was excellent until he got injured. The match would have ended differently had he stayed.

Zanetti: 6: He did a good cover and I don't understand why was he subbed.

Almiron 4: What was he doing?

Nedved 6: He was really good, winning freekicks and trying but without translating his work to what we need

Del Piero 6.5: Our best player, he was very unlucky not to score. He also did well to help the team.

Trezeguet 6: Had a couple of missed chances, not his day either.

Nocerino 5: He is not an RM. All he did was cross horrible crosses.

Tiago 5: Did nothing to be mentioned

Iaquinta 5.5: Nothing to be said there either.

What I've said. No Camo, no goal.

Almiron did more to get about 5 or 6.

I really don't know how to play with this team. If we play with 4 - 4 - 2, Almiron doesn't defend. If we play 4 - 3 - 3, Camo doesn't play and we have only one DM. If we play 4 - 4 - 1 - 1, Iaquinta doesn't get a place. And we're currently facing injuries.

The Winning Team

BuffonZebina Andrade Grygera ChielliniCamo Tiago Zanetti Nedvěd Iaquinta Trézéguet

Birindelli can be there for the next 3 matches. Legrottaglie is better than Criscito. Nocerino can play on the right side regardless he's good or not. Almiron and Del Piero are on the bench. Let's hope Marchionni and Boumsong can recover themselves soon.

mon kiev people injuring totti, de rossi, aquilani, mancini and giuly.

My squad for Roma would be:

Buffon

Molinaro Andrade Criscito Chiellini

Olivera Zanetti Nedvěd

Iaquinta Trézéguet Del Piero

we should attack the tired bastards and get the early goal and park a train infront of our goal. Olivera deserves his chance.

Molinaro at right-back? What?

4-3-3 is the way to go against Roma, I'd agree. Your selection is way off though. Molinaro at right-back? What? Oliveira is too attacking in that midfield to play also. I'd have Biri at right-back still, and have a midfield 3 of Zanetti, Tiago and Almiron. Iaquinta and Del Piero up front with Trez.

Olivera needs to play. Can't put him anywhere else apart from where I put him, up front or on the side which Ludovic is playing on. Chiellini's place is secure at LB unless he is moved to CB (). Totally forgot about Birindelli so Id add him instead of Molinaro now. Your midfield choice is far too defensive btw, you have no real wingers there or anyone with a bit of pace.

The squad is lacking in pace. Tiago can provide the box to box role, and I'd set Almiron free to attack. Get Chiellini down the left hand side to provide width and pace, and Iaquinta down the right for pace and penetration. This is an issue we'll have to address in January. A pacey and mobile defensive midfielder I think, and a pacey winger (left-wing preferably).

I'm starting to think we need to play either Nedved or Ale, not both.
