You really think you've blocked Chiellini's move? Just sounds to me like you want more money, i'm sure we'll be in for him again

I am hoping we have blocked his move. Everything inside me wants us to have blocked it. Keep your money and take Blasi for all I care, Chiellini is seriously the real deal for our defence. What bothers me is when I look at your thai owners millions and how hard it will be for our board to accept it just to get 2 players for the money. wp sven though, knows talent when he sees it

tbh I don't know if the quotes from his agent are just a ploy to try and get other clubs in for him, but i'm just extremely happy that he'd even be interested in joining us

I have read what other Juve fans have said about Man City and I wouldn't call them friendly. They think Chiellini is either stupid for choosing you lot or there is Thai who have raided his house and forcing him to say stuff. I personally think it is because of your manager who enjoyed success in Italy as I have said before.
Davide Lippi (Marcelo's son): Quote:
“I will soon meet Juventus to discuss Giorgio’s future,” said Davide Lippi. “We all hope that he will soon join Manchester City.
“The problem is that in transfer negotiations there always is a club who sells and one that buys, so I cannot possibly know how this will end.
“Chiellini would be thrilled to play in the Premier League with City, but everything depends on Juventus, on the final price and on their will to let him leave or not.”
“Will Blasi’s future be at City with Chiellini? I really don’t think so,”
| Seems like you can only spend on one and you chose the better one. His agent seems like he wants the move so he can fill spaces in his pockets.

I don't think we've ever been interested in Blasi and believe me we have the money. It appears to me that we've enquired about Chellini and he's tried to offload Blasi on us aswell, but Sven isn't interested

Ah, from Italian journalist opinion it was that Blasi wants to go but nobody wanted to spend a lot. Sven can do no wrong it seems.
Is Ball your current left back btw? Just wondering if he would be all happy about losing his place?

Ball is a decent left back, but he's never going to be a star and a class act. He's also suspended for the first 2 games and we have no other left back apart from a young lad with no experience

So you'd need another it seems.
Juventus vs Hamburg today. 20:30 kick off England time. Ranieri has gone with a complete change of players from the Newcastle game to give everyone a chance.. Pinturicchio has also announced he is going to be a father .

It appears that Sven has now turned his attention to Real Sociedad's Javi Garrido, so looks like we're out of the race for Chellini

Shame I think he's overated, Chiellini but I think our whole defence is pretty poor as a unit.
