Apparently Juve want to sign Riquelme, but Boca want to keep him at La Bombonera.

Otherwise, he is returning to Villarreal.

3 way battle then. I like him but he is lazy. I heard he did good in Copa Libertadores and him not playing for the national team would mean we would have him at all times. Great technical player but work rate needs imporoving. All of that is from his time at Villareal so he might have changed.
PMLF: I assume you saw Juan play at the Copa Lib. Does he look like a lazy player still? And also any Brazilian kids linked with Juventus?

Riquelme is not lazy, but there are those matches where he barely does anything. He is still an amazing player and Boca wouldn't be so close to win Copa Libertadores 2007 without him.

I haven't heard of any Brazilian player being linked to Juve. In fact, there haven't been many rumors recently linking Brazil-based players to Italy.

I have seen the odd Pato link come to think of it. He is very highly rated apparently. What is his price?

Chelsea apparently offered 25m Euros for him. His min fee is 27m Euros. It's unlikely he leaves for less than 25m.

I also heard Lucho González could join Juve (14m Euros or something, according to the news here).

By the way, you didn't include the Serie B title in the achievements above.

He is good, can play all over the midfield, etc... but 14m is probably too much for him.

The thing is that he is 50% owned by a MSI-like company, so it increases his price.

MSI is sort of like the Tevez thing? no way do we need him if thats true, too much trouble. Does this player ownership thing happen a lot in south america?
