| That's exactly the sort of answer I was looking for.
The location and items would be different (I dont want to go into too much detail, you never know who's reading).
So it could be seen as a nod to the other photographer.
Im sure the band and the photo's will not be featured in loads of publication just yet, so I shouldnt be too worried.
I should really look into taking photography more serious than "just helping friends out". I guess it could be a waste of my time at uni when I studied photography.

Has anyone ever taken any shots like these before? Star Trails
Looks amazing. Basically a long exposure (min 30-40 secs) on a clear night with very little outside light pollution creates the effect as the rotation of the Earth moves the position of the light from the stars.

| I don't have any of mine online yet... I have ordered my S9600 now though through eBuyer (£233 - not bad!), so in a few weeks I think I'll open a flickr account when I have a decent set.
I take it Flickr is the best site for uploading photgraphs then? </BLOCKQUOTE>
I've opened a Flickr account and uploaded a few photos from my 4.1mp camera. Let me know what you think... I know they're not that great, but remember, this is just a point-and-click set up!!
Be kind |
