Right OTF, I need your help. I am not old enough to have seen any of the dutch footballing legends like Cruijff, Van Basten etc. However, since I can remember I have been obsessed with Dutch football and especially the two players I have just mentioned. Basically, to get to the point, I would like some more information about Dutch football and it's legends. So any help would be appreciated.

Also Do any of you know any places where i can buy classic football shirts, as I would love a classic Ajax/Dutch football shirt with the name/number of the players mentioned.

Football is one of the favourite sport here. The Dutch football is famous for its ability to create many legends because the clubs have good youth academies. That's why the clubs don't have to buy expensive players.

The Netherlands is a multicultural country. The effect is that the Dutch football is colorful. I can say that 30% of the members of the national team come originally from the Netherlands Antilles, Morocco, Turkey etc. And they are very competent players. Some players who are good to be mentioned are Drenthe, Aissati and Afellay. Some of this kind of players are legends, i.e. Rijkaard and Gullit.

The Dutch football is dominated by 3 clubs, i.e. Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord. PSV have more money so that they can buy players from all over the world while Feyenoord always play with passion and want to close down all areas in the field. Ajax are the best. They build their own youngsters to be international star players like Sneijder and Stam. Ajax are also famous because they have an ability to combine technique and art. :cool: And for more information, Cruijff and Van Basten are produced by Ajax. :cool:
