Default Dying from cancer without knowing you had it

Sounds weird, but happened to the Mum of someone my Dad works with. She had lung cancer that she wasnt showing any symptoms for, thus didnt think anything was wrong. She suddenly died and the post mortem found the cancer in her lungs and thats what killed her. Doctor said hes only ever known 1 other case like it

Quite scary thinking about it. Even tho we might think we're healthy, we could be dying of anything

Jesus, hard to believe that could happen to anyone.

From my personal experiences (my grandad, a friend and my friend's mum all having some sort of cancer in the past) you see people having really bad spells, then having good spells whilst having cancer...but never anything like this.

Without people really horrible, it's kind of good she didn't suffer.

Same thing happened to someone my mum worked with. She'd been feeling ill for a few days, got progressively worse, went to A&E one Friday, they thought she had a DVT on her lung so admitted her to hospital.

They found out it was lukemia and she died on the Monday.

as soon as you're born you're dyyyyyyyyiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnng!!

possibly iron maiden lyric that I forget.

Still, she went suddenly without worrying about it all though and lead her normal life though, which could be a good thing possibly.

Happened to my mums mate last year. She had back pain for a week, went into hospital for a scan and was diagnosed, she then died two weeks later.

My gran is dieing of cancer just now as well, she was diagnosed about a month ago after some ill-health, but it looks like she will be gone in the next few days, she lived 89 years though.
