Victim accused of sodomizing man
KUWAIT : The Court of Cassation Tuesday set Jan 15, 2008 to issue a verdict in a case of a Kuwaiti man, identified as Mohammed F., who has been convicted of premeditatedly murdering his friend in Hafr Al-Batin, Saudi Arabia and sentenced to life imprisonment.
On Jan 30, 2007, the Criminal Court had sentenced the man to capital punishment. The sentence was commuted to life imprisonment by the Court of Appeals.
During the session defense attorney Dr Fayez Al-Dhafeeri, told the court his client should be held responsible for his acts because he had committed the crime when he was under the influence of alcohol. He also requested the court to show maximum leniency towards the man.
Case papers indicate the accused, who is a student, lived in Hafr Al-Batin with his sister. A few days before the murder, he allegedly met the victim and both men drank alcohol. The victim under the influence of alcohol is said to have sodomized the accused. He wanted to do it again and if refused he threatened to inform his family and friends about the whole affair.
The suspect pretended to oblige and met the victim at a Salmi border checkpoint. On that day also they drank alcohol and when the victim made advances to have sex with the accused, the latter put a condition that he wanted to have sex with the victim first.
The victim agreed and let the suspect do it. After having sex, he stabbed the victim with a knife.
The accused then drove to his sister's home washed his hands and changed his clothes. He drove back to Kuwait and narrated the incident to his elder brother, who accompanied him to the Ardhiya Police Station and surrendered to the authorities.
| Yeah basically at least he gave some bum sex before stabbing the dude.

I thin a drunken sodomy simulator would be a big seller tbh. If it was good the Saudis would pay anything.

| Congress is actually going to discuss this in the new year, which will be the first time in decades apparently.

gun lobbyists the south over will stop that.
"2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! 2nd amendment! "
but then these are the same folk who happily ignore that:
"N]o religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."
and then refuse to even consider anyone who isn't a screaming Christian for any high up office.

I'd hope they'd see common sense to be honest. It's rather ridiculous that a law written over 200 years ago in a very different world, is used to excuse Americans for owning all manner of crazy arsed weapons.
Common sense would suggest that if these weapons weren't available in the open market then there wouldn't be situations like this as regular and common occurances. Sure you're not going to erradicate gun crime completely, those people who want them will still get them, but they're much more likely to be genuine criminals as opposed to kids with mental problems.
Still, unlikely to happen as you say. They'll no doubt allow Wal*Mart to continue selling these things while they worry about far more important things, like action figures carrying mannequin heads and musicians using naughty words on their CDs to worry about.

Current US law is stupid. But then so's the UK's. Spain does it best, I can have a rifle as long as the police have no objection and as long as I pass a medical and a test of competence to handle a firearm.

I really wonder how many people will have to die before they start to get a clue.
It took one shooting in Australia, admittedly it was a very high body count, but still one is all it took.
