sorry spurs fans but you are a disgrace.
really u shud not have been beaten 4-0 at home to blackburn and you totally wrecked our UEFA chances.
again sorry

*no logic found*
What point are you trying to make? The fans doesn't play - the team do. The team has been a disgrace for the last 8-10 games. And if you read the post above yours that's what everyone are saying.
And still, don't come crying to us for losing out of Europe. It was all in your hands - you blew it yourself...just like we did, just that we blew even more.
i'm a united fan, and don't want you to take this as spurs bashing, or kicking you while you are down, but as an unbiased perspective (if there is such a thing).
there is a definite lack of quality throughout the squad. start by asking yourselves realistically which players you have that would be good enough to play in a top six side. keller, carr, davies and maybe robbie keane. that's it. you could maybe push richards, but that one is highly dubious. still 4 or 5 good players makes the nucleus of a decent team.
hoddle has to stop whining about injuries. i know that spurs have had some shocking runs with injuries, but that is part of the game. good teams have the depth to cope, patently that is another area therefore that needs addressing - depth.
so now come the two most important questions. do you have a manager who has the balls to bite the bullet and rip his squad apart and start again? and if the answer is yes, does he have the money - or will he be given it - to perform such an operation?
i question hoddles transfer judgement anyways. his track record for buying good players on the cheap isn't that good.
next, if hoddle isn't the man to do it, who is? hoddle has had two full seasons in charge, and had enough time, and made enough changes to call this team his own. but if he were were to go (unlikely, unless he gets surprisingly sacked), who would replace him? i saw one post mention van gaal. unlikely, and probably a poor choice anyways. he's failed dismally in his last two jobs - failing to get holland wc 2002, and seeing barca hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone in spain. he'd also come with a huge salary, and want a lavish transfer budget.
so other than clearing out the likes of bunjevcevic, anderton, doherty et al, and really bringing on the younger players like etherington, king (i know these two have played a lot, but they would need to become real mainstays of the side now) and a few others to replace them...
it's a tough job, but hoddle certainly hasn't been a success to this point...
You talk much sense Scatter.
I think Richards definitely is a top-6 player. And King and Gardener could be with some work. There you have a great nucleus, but there are two positions lacking - a Striker and an Anchorman. I'll say it again and again, but with these two positions we will be a top 6 side.
And I always tell any Spurs fan saying 'Hoddle out' who they want to replace him with? Apart from Van Gaal (who you rightly criticise) I have heard Topmoller floated around - well HOW good is he? He did manage to get Leverkusen who were overly-reliant on Ballack in relegation trouble this season.
And can any Spurs fan seriously say we should have kept Teddy? And those who say he should have been made manager and Glenn out because 'great players dont make great managers' - The irony. Teddy could be a crap manager. He has no experience and is more stubborn and single-minded than Hoddle.

Yeah, we're glad spurs are there, at least we'll see 6 points in our relegation season.

Yeah, we're glad spurs are there, at least we'll see 6 points go your way in our relegation season.

quote:
believe Hoddle is capable of Turning things around. He has a fine record and would probably still be in charge of England if it wasn't for his questionable statements.

I'm sure i heard somewhere that Christian Gross had a better record at Spurs than Hoddle does.
At least Gross brought us Klinsmann near the end and gave us the 6-2 (or was it 7-2 win) over wimbledon in the second last game he was in charge.. what was the biggest win we had since Hodd in charge?? I can't even think of any wins due to the recent defeats.. plus i think its better if we let the next season show what Hodd can do.. no more 10th place please..
and oh have u guys read this..
quote:
from Planetfootball: "It was a disappointing way to end the season. We know it has been a frustrating year for us.
I told Teddy I was sorry for a send-off like this. It was a sad situation for him.
I wanted to take him off with a minute to go to give him a standing ovation but then we got a corner and I thought I'l leave him on in case he scores." - Hod

hahahahahaha... what makes a difference if he scores or not.. rovers still got 4 goals against us.. it ain't gona make things look any better... lol
