Armstrong was actually one of the best strikers in the league until he got injured, before he got injured £4.5mil was looking quite good value but yet again a Spurs player got injured and when he cam back was not anywhere near as good!!!!!!!!!!

I think if we could get a good striker, someone to play as a target man for Keane to play off, perhaps a left wing back, a good defensive midfielder and a goalkeeper we could get a European place.

I think we need to get rid off the likes of Thatcher, Taricco, Sullivan, Iverson and unfortunately Teddy and Gus, I just don't think they are regular premiership players anymore!

One last thing, saw Jamie Slabber in a reserve game against Chelsea and he looked quite good, perhaps now we don't have anything to play for he should be given a go up front with Keane

ye Armie was quite decent.. who remembers when we beat liverpool 1 - 0 at home. Armstrong did a cracking side volley from a corner clearance at the edge of the box.. that was superb though.. i always rate him as like a solskjaer (super sub)

Oh btw have you heard that Viduka doesn't wana leave Elland Road and that West Brom might make a switch for Etherington... n he might leave cos he's not gettin first team games.. nnoooOOOO!! :o i swear if Hod sells him.. thats it.. out u go

There's growing speculation linking Dugarry to Spurs in the summer to replace Sheringham. Would he be a good buy or not?

Dugarry would be a good buy but would he leave Birmingham. I think we should see how Slabber plays with Keane but we can still qualify for europe. Also wot bout giving Bowditch and Blondel a chance

I agree we should play 532. I also think that Etherington could play as a wing back. We need to give him more of a chance. I think Bunjy should play in that holding role he hasnt done all that badly form what ive seen he seems to do his job. We need more of a push and run midfielder in the centre. We have davies but we need someone else. I only saw Toda's second half against Man City but he looked very good. He ran off the ball very wall and if we have someone else liek this then we can return to the SPurs way

I agree with francobaresi. Steven Carr's heart is elsewhere. I've seen all our home games this season and one or two away, and he hasn't run at defenders, or given options down gthe line, and when he has, we've been reluctant to pass to him. Also he hasn't taken any of his trademark pot-shots from distance. He used to score 2 0r 3 a season like that. Previously i put it down to a lack of confifdence, but now it seems he has just given up.

Nick2100: If you play Etherington wing back, that means you don't play Zeige. As much as i think Eherington deserves his chance, without Zeige, we create many less chances, and we lose his influence. At best, he is our most inspirational player. At worst, he is a lazy waste of space. However, this season, before his injury, he has been one of our best players.
