I agree.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>
One other thing- I find it disgraceful that a Premiership club can be in this position regarding strikers- you would expect there to be somebody in the reserves or youths with perhaps the potential to step up, and is worth giving a go.

Any kid will get support from the crowd- certainly more than Doherty and Iversen will get.

Sometimes I feel we are just too cautious- and this caution, rather than a "lets give it a go" attitude is one of the many reasons for our lack of current success.
<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

If we had no chance of Europe I'd agree but it means so much to get there that I can sort of see why they won't do it. If Keane is out for a while though then I'd put Slabber or someone on the bench with Teddy and Davies up front.

And I want to see if Toda is any good.

Spurs are live on TV here tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that. So much so that I forgot that today was CM4 demo day.

I heard that Teddy had signed a 1-year extension, and with regards to Thelwell: Who cares?

Also i'd like to see Slabber given a chance, unless Keano is back for the game tomorrow.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> is anyone else p|*ssed off about Freunds contract, while Sheringham get another at his huge wages again, now Freund isn't selected. Hoddles man-management kicks in again <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

I'm extremely pis*ed off about Fruends contract not being renewed, especially after the reaction he got when he came on against Sunderland (or Newcastle, i can't remember). Just before the Fulham game he walked up through the stand to an executive box a few rows behind our seats, and he got a heroes ovation. I'm especially pis*ed off now, that i miss the last game of the season, and therefore probably his last Spurs game, when he will blatantly score.
However, i don't think that there is much wrong with Teddy getting a new contrct, especially with the striking situation we have at the moment.
I'd just like to say that i think Taricco is playing brilliantly atm, and, if he keeps up this form, Zeige will find it hard to get his place back when he returns.
btw, anyone heard anything on how close to comeback he is?

I read that Ziege is about 3 weeks away from some sort of game, behind closed doors type of game i should think, dont wanna rush him back, id maybe give him another 5-6 weeks hopefully he be back. As for freund i am very annoyed about the contract situation, he deserves another contract, he is a valuable squad player even if he is eventually replaced by Toda or whoever. I think Hoddles man management is appauling, he never gets on with anyone. Seems like he cant take any conflicting views he may receive.

Thing is, the club failed to get a work permit last time; wonder why it's any different this time around?

One month after the window closes, we confirm the deal for Qu Bo. Yeah that sounds sensible to me.

Its not as bad as it sounds, The debt is like a 17mil bank loan its not something that requires needed payment but is paid of gradually over something like 15 years or something like that.
