One other thing- I find it disgraceful that a Premiership club can be in this position regarding strikers- you would expect there to be somebody in the reserves or youths with perhaps the potential to step up, and is worth giving a go.
Any kid will get support from the crowd- certainly more than Doherty and Iversen will get.
Sometimes I feel we are just too cautious- and this caution, rather than a "lets give it a go" attitude is one of the many reasons for our lack of current success.

If we had no chance of Europe I'd agree but it means so much to get there that I can sort of see why they won't do it. If Keane is out for a while though then I'd put Slabber or someone on the bench with Teddy and Davies up front.
And I want to see if Toda is any good.
