Yeah i'm beginning to worry. Keano and Deano are probably out, and forms against us: every time we've played a side from the northeast this season we've lost, and the only teams to beat us at home are Boro and the Toon. Now i'm worried

What about this Boksic rumour?

He'd be better than Ivo or Doc as cover for the Keano-Teddy pairing - anyway Doc is going to have to play in defence if Garnder and Richards are both out.

When will we get him, in the summer?
If that's the case, then why buy him, when there must be better younger strikers around. On the other hand, if we don't get to Europe who will want to come to us other than ageing, once-quality footballers.

From what ive heard we're meant to be interested in Javier Portillo from Madrid instead of morientes. It said we can get him for bout 10million

They were talking about Portillo to Spurs on Football First in Europe on Talksport, a couple of weeks ago. They said that maybe Portillo is not the amazing player evryone makes him out to be. But i think he would be a good signing.

ALso Teddy has signed a one-year extension to his contract. I was thinking why doesn't he become a player coach like Niall Quinn at Sunderland. I mean, he's getting to that stage where this will probably be his last season, at least in a Spurs shirt, and he has always said he wants to get into coaching.

Congratulations to Ledley on getting into the England squad again but does any else think this is a bit harsh on Dean Richards? He has been easily our best defender this season and IMO as good defensively as anyone around as well as useful for heading the set pieces.

I think Sven has players in mind more for the future, rather than for now - while Richards has been better than King and possibly deserves a call, so too does Craddock of Sunderland for his form over the last 2 years or more. The fact is though both these players are around 27/28 and so probably wont ever figure now.

Things I read on the internet:

Iversen is crippled (that's the gist of it).

Beattie says Hoddle was a big help as a coach - taught him a lot about movement.

Doc says Hoddle is teaching him a lot about movement in attacking positions.

Things I didn't read on the internet or anywhere else:

How bad Robbie Keane's knee is.

How easy it is to get into Europe through the league with Doherty and Sheringham as you strikeforce.

We'll probably see some of our midfielders, like Poyet and maybe Acimovic, thrust into makeshift attacking positions when the injuries mount.

They give Blondel a chance and use him in the midfield. Also i think that we will probaly be bringing in another defensive midfielder at the end of the season as Freund will probaly be leaving. Etherington should be given a chance in the left wingback role even tohugh he isnt the best crosser he can still get down that line and this can be useful on the counter attack. Blondel needs to play more and im not quite sure if we're playing 532 at the moment or if were playing 442. If 442 then carr and davies should be on the right. Thatcher and etherington should be on the left as thatcher can cover for Etheringtons defensive responsibilites and can also play some good balls down the line
