Anyway whats Tim Sherwood up to at the moment? - what was his most recent form like when he's played? as we have been linked with him a few times recently, as were desperate in midfield and could probably do with the experience.

True though, and they never fail to get stuck into anything regarding his age - yet how often is Venables dodgy dealing mentioned or his pathetic spells at Portsmouth, Palace?

Sounds like he'll fit in well if he comes here then :-/

Well ge is virtually 70, deserves a mention I think.

And as for Venables dodgy deals they get brought up all the time, but Venables has been all chummy with certain sections of the media so it is not mentioned as often as it should be. Nothing to do with southern bias though.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't - but i'm told by most in here there is no bias and everyone gets the same treatment - thats not strictly true though is it?

Im sure McAteer could do the same job better for you.

What, do you mean better at passing the ball short and behind players or do you really mean a better job?

I'm guessing the first

Nah, Deadwood is far worse than McAteer. But take him and see for yourselves by all means.

Regarding El Tel, he's got chums all over the tabloid press, just like George Graham. One is a Londoner, one ain't even an Englishman. Of course the media have favourites, but they're far more down to personalities and mutual usefulness than geography.
