found out about our 15 point deduction last night. cant quite believe it.

So, assuming that the 15 point reduction is ratified by the League chairman, what are realistic ambitions for this season? Too good to go down, surely?

Dennis is still chasing automatic promotion. Before the deduction I would have just been happy to avoid the drop, so that stays the same. We have a tough start, like we had last season, so it could all go very much wrong again.

Tbh, I am looking for survival this season. Maybe top half if we get some lucky results.

Last season to get into the playoffs you needed 75 points.
Say we would have got 75, but with the -15 that's means we end up with 60 points. 60 would have been 12/13th place.
To get relegated you needed 47 points, so with our 15 point deduction we would have to get 62 points.

Chelsea have paid for Ben Gordon apparently and he played for their youth team last week.

Chelsea paid £375k for Gordon.
We originally got Gordon from Bradford when he was 12 and they had a 10% sell on clause so 37k is making it's way to Bradford City. Hopefully the cheque doesn't bounce.

Is Scott Gardner a YTS product or a trialist? I hope he's from the acadmey because he played excellently against Wigan. Seems to have his head screwed on too.
