We'll always be hated, reputations don't go away that easily. But as long as we've got each other we'll be alright :*)
| That's the way it is. Many people won't be happy until we are dead and buried. But we are marching on together

Massively harsh penalty that for you lads, and as someone on SSN pointed out its that twat Ridsdale who gets away scott free after causing it all.
Feel sorry for genuine fans having to go through this tbh.

It all goes back to Ridsdale.
All of our problems end back up at him.

| How long can you go on blaming him?
Surely the Debt that Leeds are in now is more to do with what Bates did to you since he took over?
Sure you can blame Ridsdale for putting you in that position, but he wasn't responsible for all this. If somebody else had taken over the club rather than Bates, you wouldn't be in this situation now.
Blaming Ridsdale is a total and utter cop out.

yeah Ridsdale has to take most of the blame for this, more so then O'Leary surely.
between the story of the Seth Johnson contract negotiations, to getting those massive loans.
and is it true that he even wanted to sign Lampard at the time, trying to get o'leary to go for him, even though they didnt need him?

I think we picked Seth over Lampard...
Ridsdale IS still affecting us - though you have to feel that Bates lived the dream slightly too - we spent a lot for a Championship team on the likes of Blake, Cresswell, Greagan, Healey (?) et al as a gamble to get us promoted with the last of our parachute payments, and that didn't pay off.
If Ridsdale didn't rack up that debt, McKenzie, Kwasner, Bates wouldn't have had to take over and make things worse. Cause and effect, albeit a little tenuous.

If Ridsdale hasnt put us in this mess, Bates wouldnt have gotten close to the club. Im past getting angry with Ridsale now, but even back then he refused to admit he played any part in the mess

My girlfriend and her family support Rovers so I have the smallest ever soft spot for them, but she said she can't wait to get back to Elland Road.
| She isn't roversjenny, is she?
