A combination of being on placement for a year and getting a regular wage and also getting a debit card recently has led to me buying more and more stuff on the net
Mostly on junk though that I don't really need
Always used to stick anything I wanted on my Ma's credit card and then just pay her.
Anyone regulary do their grocery shopping online? Thinking of ordering stuff from Tesco and seeing how/good bad they are in this area.

The problem with Tesco online is that anything you order is past its sell by date after a day. Doesn't stop my mum ordering from it though.
Yeah, the pickers are told to pick the nearest to going out of date that they can do within the law. Seeing as the people who actually go shopping buy the newest stock, they need to shift the older stuff some how.
Bought a whole bunch of computer parts for just over £400 once, think that was my "single" largest purchase. No idea how much I've spent over the years, but I know for a fact the amount is rising year on year, just so much easier to shop from home. However, never been one for grocery shopping online, mostly because most of the food I buy is fresh produce, so I like to be there to check it over before I buy.
Can't see me using it much for grocery shopping once i do move out tbh - don't fancy all the nasty stuff i heard about it being nearly out of date when you get it.
That said if i've got a big enough freezer i might do a load of freezer shopping online once a month that way it's just a case of going down first couple of aisles at supermarket for the fresh stuff when i go shopping.
