Get a wireless router and one wireless card. Not too expensive and pretty simple to do.

You'll need to get two wireless pci cards for your 2 pc's.

As for the router have a look at maybe Netgear and then maybe have a look at this wireless card (x2).

Well it depends what you want to do. You can connect one of the pc's directly to the router using the ethernet cable that comes with router (i'd recommend this tbh) thus meaning that you would require only one wireless card for the other pc. If you do it this way then make sure the pc thats connected to the router using ethernet cable has an ethernet port.

The ethernet lead that comes with the router, does that then link up WIRED to the router itself?

Hmmm i'll be honest i know nothing about those guys mentioned on the ntl website. The Netgear should be fine, if Kris was about he'd be able to advice you some more.

So yeh the Netgear router should be fine, what you need to decide is how you want your setup to work.

1) Do you want both the pc's to connect wirelessly to the router? If so then you'll need two wireless pci cards;

2) Or do you want one pc connected to the router directly using ethernet cable and the other pc connected wirelessly to the router.

Option 2 would be my recommendation as it's easier for router setup. So basicaly you would have the pc that your your ntl modem is connected to at the moment, to be directly connected to the router.
So things would work like this:

*NTL modem connected to router via ethernet cable;
*router connected to pc1 via ethernet cable;
*then pc2 connected to router wirelessly.
