Thing is I phoned up my PC manufactorer and I have a 'Wireless pci 802.11g/b adapter WN4201B, so do i still need to buy a pci card or an adapter for the router?
yeh, ok. What does the 'WN4201B' part mean though, on the pci cad already installed on my PC, do I need a router that is the same as that code or something?
ok, may go ahead and order one, see if I can get it to work on my PC with he built in cards, then if that works, order 2 other pci cards. Is there a difference when setting up the router from using the router on one pc than on 3, or do I just run the network wizard set up on all 3 pc's?
ok. Also forgot to add, is it possible to home network with 1 of the pc's connected via a wired modem into a phone socket, and with 1 of the others linked upto a router into another phone socket, considering if I had 2 sets of micro filters? Just trying to save money as 1 of the desktop pc's is right next to a phone socket, i don't really needto be spending 330 on a card for that 1.
thomson routeris what I have found today, recommended by AOL. Is this outer any good, and will it work with my 802.11g'b pci card that I have pre installed on my PC?
