Hmmm i'll be honest i know nothing about those guys mentioned on the ntl website. The Netgear should be fine, if Kris was about he'd be able to advice you some more.
So yeh the Netgear router should be fine, what you need to decide is how you want your setup to work.
1) Do you want both the pc's to connect wirelessly to the router? If so then you'll need two wireless pci cards;
2) Or do you want one pc connected to the router directly using ethernet cable and the other pc connected wirelessly to the router.
Option 2 would be my recommendation as it's easier for router setup. So basicaly you would have the pc that your your ntl modem is connected to at the moment, to be directly connected to the router.
So things would work like this:
*NTL modem connected to router via ethernet cable;
*router connected to pc1 via ethernet cable;
*then pc2 connected to router wirelessly. </BLOCKQUOTE>
OK, change of plan. 1 pc is gonna be downstairs and the other is gonna be upstairs. Well if thats possible, does that mean I need anything extra? Or will this still work?
Thanks In Advance
