| How do you mean?
For example if you have an adsl wireless router, you would use the ethernet cable to connect the router to your pc if thats how you want it to work. With cable\dsl broadband router you would connect modem to router with ethernet cable and then connect router to pc with another ethernet cable. The cable modem should come with an ethernet cable and the router will always come with an ethernet cable.

| Heres what i recommend:
router: NETGEAR DG834G Integrated ADSL Modem 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless Firewall Router
pci cards (x2): Netgear WG311 54mbps 802.11g Wireless PCI Card
Network setup:
*connect adsl wireless router to pc1 using ethernet cable that comes with router;
* connect pc2 & pc3 to router wirelessly.
The above are just suggestions so research further to be sure what you wanna do. If Kris is about and sees this thread then he may be able to provide more advice but you should be ok with above suggestion |

i dont want to connect via an ethernet lead though, I want the 3 pc's to be wireless with either usb adapters or wireless pc cards to the router. Would an adsl router and then 3 pc cards be able to do that?

I already have a pci 802.11 b/g adapter WN4201b card pre installed on one of my pc's, would i still need a card/adapter to link uo to the router, or would this one do the job? Plus what is the difference between the dls router and the adsl router? Is the adsl router wireless, and the dsl wired via ethernet leads and modem leads?
