Ive linked you to Linksys kit, youve posted a router.
Its great
you posted a usb card
Not great
You posted a pci card
Brilliant.
Hint : Buy
1 x Linksys router with modem built in
then
as many x linksys pci cards (non usb that youve already mentioned.
Youve done the hard work yourself. Several experienced gurus have agreed with your choice. Just buy it and post any issues , which we can help with.
We cant help with cheapo hardware that we have no notion of.

Sarcasm is stupid, you obviously arent seeing the point. So here goes.
Buy some shitty £30 router.
You can buy quality cisco/linksys equipement that we have already discussed for an extra £40.
Post on here when the DNs fails, when responders fail, when dhcp fails to propogate, when the firmware crashes out because you dont have match hardware
Wifi is not something you can just toy with, Ive repaired too many wifi's to know that there is no standard such as 33.6 of 56K modem connections.
Quality kit is needed to enable a stable wifi.

Do not mess aroung hband, you pay say £90 for an all in cheapo solution and Ill guarantee itll be causing you headaches.
Go with a slightly more expensive, linksys/dlink/draytek solution and its easy as pie to setup.

ok, but in one PC i have a built in 802.11g/b card, shall I go with the linksys router, or will it be best to match it up with my same make of router, but i ent got a clue what make my pci ard is? I am going to go with a budget of 50-70 quid on a linksys router, last time- will it do the job,, or will it fail as you described above? Plus a couple of llinksys pci cards, btw, what is wifi?

Wifi = Wireless Network
Your inbuilt card can cope with any router.
so you need
1 x linksys router
AND
n x cards
where n is the amount of pc's you have without a wifi card.
The router is the crux. cards are pretty much alike. but the router is your focal point..
In short, spend as much as you can on the router and as little as you can on the wireless network cards.
